PROHIBITED PRODUCTS & SERVICES POLICY

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to identify products, services, activities, listings, advertisements, and commercial offerings that are prohibited from being published, promoted, sold, offered, advertised, distributed, or facilitated through the One Asset Market (“OAM”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

This Policy supports the integrity, safety, reputation, legal compliance, and professional standards of the Platform.

2. General Principle

OAM is a professional and family-friendly marketplace.

Only lawful, legitimate, ethical, and commercially responsible products and services may be offered on the Platform.

OAM reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether any product, service, activity, or listing is appropriate for inclusion on the Platform.

The absence of a specific item from this Policy does not imply approval.

3. Illegal Products and Services

The following are prohibited:

• Stolen goods.
• Smuggled goods.
• Counterfeit goods.
• Pirated products.
• Illegal imports or exports.
• Products obtained through unlawful means.
• Products requiring licences where such licences are absent.
• Services that facilitate unlawful conduct.

4. Weapons and Dangerous Items

The following are prohibited:

• Illegal firearms.
• Illegal ammunition.
• Explosive devices.
• Improvised weapons.
• Military-grade weapons.
• Illegal weapon components.
• Any product prohibited by applicable law.

Items that may be lawfully traded under regulated conditions may only be permitted where specifically approved by OAM and supported by all required legal documentation.

5. Drugs, Narcotics and Controlled Substances

The following are prohibited:

• Illegal drugs.
• Narcotics.
• Controlled substances sold without proper authorisation.
• Drug paraphernalia associated with unlawful use.
• Products intended to facilitate illegal drug activity.

6. Adult and Sexually Explicit Content

The following are prohibited:

• Pornographic material.
• Adult entertainment services.
• Sexually explicit products.
• Sexually explicit advertisements.
• Content inappropriate for minors.
• Escort services.
• Adult-oriented promotional content.

OAM maintains a family-friendly marketplace environment.

7. Exploitation of Minors

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Any content involving the exploitation of minors.
• Material inappropriate for minors.
• Content that endangers children.
• Products or services intended to exploit vulnerable persons.

Any such content may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

8. Fraudulent and Deceptive Activities

The following are prohibited:

• Pyramid schemes.
• Ponzi schemes.
• Get-rich-quick schemes.
• Fraudulent investment opportunities.
• Misleading financial promotions.
• Identity theft services.
• Fake documents.
• Fake certifications.
• Misrepresentation of products or services.

9. Gambling and Unauthorised Betting Activities

The following are prohibited unless specifically authorised under applicable law and approved by OAM:

• Illegal gambling services.
• Illegal betting services.
• Lottery schemes.
• Unauthorised gaming promotions.

10. Hazardous Materials

The following are prohibited unless specifically approved by OAM and legally compliant:

• Toxic substances.
• Dangerous chemicals.
• Hazardous waste.
• Radioactive materials.
• Biohazard materials.
• Materials presenting unreasonable public safety risks.

11. Intellectual Property Violations

The following are prohibited:

• Counterfeit products.
• Copyright infringements.
• Trademark infringements.
• Unauthorised reproductions.
• Unlicensed digital products.
• Unauthorised use of third-party brands.

12. Offensive and Harmful Content

The following are prohibited:

• Hate-based content.
• Discriminatory content.
• Harassing content.
• Threatening content.
• Violent extremist content.
• Material promoting unlawful conduct.
• Material intended to intimidate or harm others.

13. Unethical or High-Risk Services

The following may be prohibited at OAM’s discretion:

• Services that create unreasonable legal risk.
• Services that promote unlawful conduct.
• Services likely to damage the reputation of the Platform.
• Services that cannot be reasonably verified.
• Activities that may expose users to fraud or harm.

14. OAM Discretion

OAM reserves the right to prohibit, restrict, remove, suspend, investigate, or reject any product, service, advertisement, listing, business, or activity that:

• Creates legal risk.
• Creates safety concerns.
• Creates reputational risk.
• Conflicts with Platform values.
• Conflicts with marketplace standards.
• Is inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Platform.

OAM’s determination shall be final.

15. Enforcement

Where prohibited products or services are identified, OAM may:

• Remove listings.
• Suspend advertisements.
• Restrict accounts.
• Request supporting documentation.
• Suspend users.
• Permanently terminate participation.
• Report matters to relevant authorities where required.

Such action may be taken without prior notice.

16. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that all products and services offered through OAM comply with:

• Applicable laws.
• Regulatory requirements.
• OAM policies.
• Industry-specific obligations.

Ignorance of this Policy shall not constitute a defence.

17. Amendments

OAM reserves the right to amend this Policy from time to time.

Updated versions become effective upon publication on the Platform.

18. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of South Africa.

19. Acceptance

By listing, advertising, promoting, selling, offering, or facilitating products or services through OAM, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Prohibited Products & Services Policy.
